With hearts full of sorrow and acceptance of God’s will, House of Coexistence (HOC) mourns the passing of the respected Yazidi religious scholar in Sinjar, Khidr Barakat Kasso, who has returned to his Lord.
The late scholar was a prominent religious and social figure, known for his wisdom, knowledge, and dedication to serving people. He devoted his life to spreading values of tolerance, coexistence, and peace, and was a trusted guide for his community, leaving a lasting legacy.
We pray to God to grant him His vast mercy, admit him into His spacious paradise, and inspire his family, loved ones, and community with patience and solace.
