House of Coexistence hosted H.E. Mr. Christophe Auge, French Consul General, for a visit aimed at dialogue with our team and several youth participants from the Sinjar Open Dialogue Platform. Discussions focused on the general situation in Sinjar, challenges related to the district such as displaced persons, governance, and stability, as well as French humanitarian efforts supporting Sinjar.
The participating youth emphasized the need to intensify local and international efforts to alleviate the suffering of the people of Sinjar. They also provided an overview of the Sinjar Open Dialogue Platform and its advocacy priorities, while the Consul General discussed the prosecution of French ISIS members in French courts.
