As part of an initiative supporting livelihoods and strengthening local agriculture, the House of Coexistence provided integrated agricultural greenhouses to low-income families in Sinjar, along with access to water and all necessary supplies.
Among these initiatives is the project of farmer Anwar Barjas, who successfully cultivated strawberries inside the greenhouse—an experience considered the first of its kind in Sinjar. The result was a fresh and delicious product that is now being sold in the local market.
Anwar confirms that the idea began in Sulaymaniyah and, with the support of the House of Coexistence, it was transformed into a successful reality that combines practical benefit with enjoyable work.
