Every seedling planted in the soil of Sinjar is a step toward planting hope in the hearts of its people. The land that receives care restores peace to those who nurture it.”

As part of the Building Peace and Stability in Iraq program, the Sinjar Directorate of Agriculture and the House of Coexistence conducted a two-day training workshop on modern farming methods and advanced agricultural techniques, targeting a group of farmers from Sinjar district.

Following the completion of the training, smart water storage units and tree seedlings were distributed free of charge by the Directorate of Agriculture as part of the government’s support to the agricultural sector and to the people of Sinjar.

This activity is implemented in collaboration with the House of Coexistence, in partnership with the International Rescue Committee (IRC), and funded by the British government (UKAID).
