Ms. Katharina Donhoff, Director of HAND FÜR HAND, official partner of House of Coexistence HOC – بيت التعايش, participated in a panel discussion at the International Journalists Festival, presenting the Helin Voices (helinvoices) Project under the theme: “The New System in the Middle East: Media Projects in Iraq and Syria.”
The discussion focused on recent developments in the region from journalists’ perspectives and highlighted the importance of independent media voices that represent citizens’ needs, amplify marginalized communities, and give minorities a platform in society.
It is noteworthy that the annual Journalism Festival in Innsbruck is one of the largest media events globally, hosting hundreds of journalists and media professionals from around the world.
