With the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Iraq and the German Development Bank (KfW), the House of Coexistence is implementing a pioneering environmental project in the northern sub-district of Sinjar. The initiative aims to plant and distribute 10,000 trees to farmers across various villages and areas in Sinjar.
This project is a key step in combating desertification, mitigating climate change impacts, and expanding green spaces to improve the local environment. It also supports the local economy by targeting 100 farmers, providing them with seedlings, agricultural guidance, and technical support to promote successful sustainable farming practices.
Through this initiative, the House of Coexistence seeks to create a greener, healthier environment and foster sustainable economic growth, benefiting the community and strengthening its resilience to environmental challenges.
