We were pleased to participate in a consultative meeting with a delegation from the government and parliament of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, including H.E. Mr. Florian Hassler, State Secretary, and parliament members Alina Fink Trauschel and Yalia Katalipe, along with their accompanying team.
The meeting focused on the current situation in Sinjar and the challenges facing the Yazidi community in general, and the people of Sinjar in particular. The delegation listened to perspectives from youth and civil society representatives and received various proposals to support and assist the Sinjar community, with special attention to vulnerable groups.
