A community dialogue session was held in Sinjar District to identify the priorities of the local community. The session represented an important step toward strengthening direct dialogue with residents and gaining a better understanding of their actual needs. It brought together a diverse group of youth, women, and local community leaders.
The session focused on highlighting the key service, economic, social, and environmental challenges facing the area, while also reviewing the changes and transformations in community roles over recent years.
The session was held as part of the “Toward Establishing a Community Mechanism for Protection and Promoting Peace and Coexistence in Sinjar” program, implemented by House of Coexistence (HOC) with support from GIZ – Civil Peace Service (CPS).
