House of Coexistence (HOC) organized a training workshop for members of the Community Committee in Sinjar District, aimed at strengthening their capacities to identify community issues, design advocacy campaigns, and plan and implement community initiatives, contributing to greater community participation and supporting stability and social cohesion.
The workshop included interactive sessions and practical discussions that helped participants develop ideas for feasible community initiatives, strengthening the role of committee members in leading local efforts and responding to community needs.
The workshop was conducted as part of the Building Peace and Stability in Iraq (BPSI) program, implemented by House of Coexistence (HOC) in partnership with Un Ponte Per (UPP), with support from the UK Government through the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO/UKAID).
