The House of Coexistence (HOC) hosted a book signing event at the Sinjar Cultural Center for the book titled “Yazidis and the Memory of the Sumerians” by author Alou Khalaf Sharaf. The event was attended by a distinguished group of intellectuals, writers, and individuals interested in cultural affairs within the Sinjar community.
This event comes as part of efforts to promote a culture of writing and to highlight the importance of documentation and archiving in preserving the community’s memory, as well as supporting this group as a fundamental pillar in building the local cultural landscape.
