Through a beautiful initiative from our Kakay brothers from Halabja, we have received these pomegranate cuttings—5,000 in total—symbolizing the 5,000 martyrs of Halabja.
Our first stage aims to propagate these cuttings and transform them into seedlings to be distributed to farmers in the upcoming seasons.
Farmers who have registered and have experience or knowledge in propagating cuttings are invited to visit the House of Co-Existence to take the cuttings and plant them themselves, following our agricultural instructions. The season is ideal for this activity.
Our sincere thanks and appreciation go to the dear volunteers from Halabja, especially the Shanroi Kakay Organization, for this valuable contribution to our ongoing campaign to green Sinjar.
Date for collection: Tomorrow, Saturday, at 10:00 AM
